Growth of single crystals of complex oxides
A
unique high-tech equipment allows to carry out the development of new
technologies for producing single-crystal materials, from preparation of
raw materials to manufacture devices work items from single crystals
and films, as well as to establish in the future of their industrial
production.
Specialists developed a complex series of domestic technology for single crystals of large size:

Defect-free crystal gadolinium gallium garnet with a diameter of 110 mm
and weighing over 16 kg, which is widely used as lining materials for
thin films in magnitoelektronike;
·
Pure and doped crystals of lithium niobate and lithium tantalate in
diameter and 90 mm - common materials used in acousto-electronics,
acousto-optics, integrated optics, devices, linear and nonlinear optics,
etc.;
·
Tungstate scintillation crystals and molybdates of lead, cadmium and
calcium for the production of highly efficient solid-state recorders of
high-energy radiation in high energy physics, medical X-ray tomography
for nondestructive testing of radioactive contamination of air, water,
food, etc.;
·
Crystals from the group aluminum garnet and perovskite doped with
rare-earth elements, solid-state lasers for medical, technological, and
general technical applications;
Crystals of rare-earth · Galatians as substrates for single-crystal films of high-temperature superconductors and many others.
The site is equipped with eight units, manufactured under license from LPA (France), which provide opportunities:
- Growing crystals of complex oxide compounds with melting temperatures up to 2000 ° C;
- Preparation of crystals with a diameter of 110 mm and a weight of 40 kg;
- Control of the mass of the crystal growth process;
- Carrying out processes in various gas atmospheres;
- Computer control the growth process.
