Crystallization technology for LED InP – InGaAsP heterostructures is developed at the SRC «Carat»

Crystallization technology of InP – InGaAsP heterostructures used for
fabrication of NIR light emitting devices operated at 1.063 µm wavelength has
developed at the SRC «Carat» as result of
R&D work.
Diodes emitting in IR are widely used in radioelectronic apparatus of
different application – medical and military engineering, environment
monitoring systems, safeguard systems, etc.
The most important characteristics of these devices are a speed of
operation and radiation power as well as their performance in wide temperature
range from -60°С till +70°С.
Fabrication and test of the IR LED pilot lot is carrying out at Special
Design Bureau «Ritm» (Chernivtsy).
